BT-150DS is a CNC tool grinder, which is composed of five axes: grinding wheel oscillation axis (X-axis), workpiece feed axis (Y-axis), grinding wheel vertical motion axis (Z-axis), workpiece horizontal rotation axis (B-axis) and grinding wheel inclination angle (C-axis). The machine tool is suitable for the production and grinding of medium and large quantities of carbide insert. Once centering is finished and the switch is pressed, grinding will be done automatically, realizing constant pressure grinding and flexible feeding. Due to the high hardness of the tool material (PCD & CBN), the grinding wheel wears quickly. So grinding wheel cleaning and resharpening system are integrated on the grinding wheel spindle. The grinding wheel can be cleaned and resharpened during the processing through program control, so that the grinding wheel always maintains the best grinding state. At the same time, the grinding wheel wear can be compensated through program, and the grinding dimensional accuracy can be maintained for a long time. Equipped with a sixth CNC axis - indexing axis (A-axis), the machine can be used to grind rotary tools; the indexing axis (A-axis) adopts the BT30 standard interface, and the corresponding tool holder or spindle can be selected according to the tool, making the tool clamping more flexible for more types of tools; and a rotary tool software package is added.
